The Sound of the Sea on Deal Beach CD

The Sound of the Sea on Deal Beach, an hour of contemplation was produced by Andy Horne of Swerve Digital Audio in Deal, Kent. Andy originally came up with the idea of digitally recording the sound of the surf for a friend of his with tinnitus who was given a rather poor quality cassette tape of sea sounds, by the local hospital.

We are pleased to be able to offer this excellent CD - a piece of natural music that has been playing for many thousands of years, a timeless melody - for the first time.

People who are distressed by their tinnitus often find the noise to be more intrusive in a quiet environment. Sound therapy can help by reducing the contrast between tinnitus and silence, helping the auditory system to become less 'tuned in' to tinnitus.

The sound of the sea is also a useful, calming aid to relaxation which in itself is very beneficial for tinnitus. It can be used as a way to wind down during a stressful day, as an aid to falling asleep at night, or simply as a pleasant background sound to accompany everyday activities.

If you would like to order a copy or copies, you can download the form below and return it to us with your details, alternatively you can phone the BTA Office on 0114 250 9933 and order your copy over the phone.

The CD costs just £7.50 in the UK or £10 sterling overseas including postage and packing.
